But last but not the least, Helena who was our fantastic guide, representative and translator. Due to the pandemic, we needed to do virtual viewings and understand the whole process in our absence, and Helena was there all throughout to assist us, patiently explaining the steps e.g. how things work in Portugal, etc. , provided a video of the property, coordinated with the sellers agent, which made our decision-making much easier. She was not only our agent but someone who we have developed a friendship with. We enjoyed our time with her in Portugal not only as we closed the deal in person, but also after, as we excitedly discussed our future plans for the vineyard that we now very happily and proudly call our own!!
