"I was hesitant to write this review, but in my opinion a 4.8 rating is too high based on our experience. My business partner and I signed an exclusivity agreement with this company to sell our restaurant, CAYO Gastrobar in Porto. At the beginning, the broker seemed very motivated and eager to help sell the business. However, over the 3 months we worked together, there was very little activity. As far as we know, there were only about 2 visits from potential buyers, which is very disappointing for a business located in a busy city like Porto. What concerned us even more was the lack of basic marketing. No “For Sale” sign was ever placed in front of the restaurant. This alone could have generated interest from people walking by or local investors. Instead, it seemed the only strategy was to rely on the company’s website listing, which severely limits exposure. Over time it also became clear that the broker’s attention was focused on other personal career projects, and selling our business no longer seemed like a priority. Because of the lack of effort, communication, and proactive marketing, we decided to cancel the exclusivity agreement. Unfortunately, this resulted in several months being wasted, time that could have been used to find serious buyers. I hope this feedback encourages the company to improve their approach with future clients."
