"Portugal homes has come on board to help me with my home in Lisbon. They have helped with multiple problems that I have had in my condo and, because most of my time is out of the country, they make me feel like I have someone in Portugal that I can count on. They are very responsive to my requests for help and are great at keeping me updated on the things I need to know. "I am writing to share a deeply negative experience with Portugal Homes to warn other potential investors. In January 2021, I invested €500,000 upfront for a renovation project in Lisbon, with a contractually guaranteed completion date of June 2022. I have strong reason to believe the company knew this deadline was unachievable from the start but proceeded with the contract to secure my investment over other projects I was evaluating. When the project was inevitably delayed, the company's response was not only to refuse any discussion of the agreed-upon penalties but to do so in a shockingly unprofessional and taunting manner. Forced into legal action in November 2022, my case has seen little progress within the legal system for over 31 months. My advice is to be extremely wary of this company. My experience demonstrates a concerning lack of business ethics and a readiness to breach contracts for their own gain. I learned a difficult and expensive lesson, and I hope you can benefit from it."

"High level summary: the service of Portugal Homes (Hugo D) was excellent, exceeding all expectations, in every area. More details: we purchased an apartment in Lisbon based on video visit, and live out of country. Hugo worked closely with us to design the arrangement and selection of furniture, and handled all delivery, set-up (including details like attached night stands and mounted TV), adjustments and finding solutions for things we did not know about the residence in advance of purchase. He handled a full package of needs for the home from furnishings to kitchenware, linens and towels and small appliances. Hugo was outstanding. He provided in depth guidance and expert recommendations while being timely, patient and always kind and polite. He worked with the on-site manager to gain access to the apartment while we were traveling. They worked together to have contractors do some work, including electrical work. Of course we had a shorter timeline than optimal, and Hugo worked hard to made the apartment ready for our first few nights. He is handling minor finishing details also. We recommend him and the services with no reservation! We feel there is great value for the price. It was one of best service experiences we've had in Portugal, or anywhere!"

"I visited Portugal Homes in regard of furnishing my condo that I bought in Lisbon. Before meeting them in person, I had my doubts about their services and how they can be any help, because I had a bad experience with a another company. But when I visited their office and met with Mrs Teresa and saw how they are working and what they offer , I was really impressed. I strongly suggest this company because the real work begins after your purchase a property which is the furnishing especially when you have to deal with that when you are not always there and living in an other country.
