"I should’ve known better the moment Diogo Martins started sweet-talking us with empty promises and zero follow-through. Claimed he was in charge of maintenance – turns out he was only in charge of collecting his €2,000 commission and disappearing. We rented an apartment in Ajuda, the landlord was Vitor Madeira – and let’s just say he mastered the art of ghosting. Calls? Ignored. Messages? Left on read. He did blocked all our numbers. But somehow he found the time to try and withhold our deposit using made-up charges for repainting and replacing a toilet valve (seriously?). Last I checked, using a toilet normally doesn’t mean we owe you money. Welcome to Aluga Seguro, where common wear and tear is apparently treated like criminal damage. We returned the apartment in good condition, and yet they pulled the usual trick: fabricate repairs, inflate costs, and blame the tenants. No receipts, no proof, just drama. They even had the nerve to try and charge €600+ for a bit of paint. If I’d sneezed on the wall, would that cost extra too? At one point, we were left without hot water for an entire month, and Diogo couldn’t care less – no solution, no urgency, just excuses. And at the end of all this mess, after dragging things out for weeks, they kept €400 from our deposit just to make the problem “go away.” We had to involve a lawyer just to recover what we were legally owed. The entire experience was shady, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time, energy, and trust. And honestly – I really hope they didn’t do this just because we’re foreigners. But it sure felt like we were treated with a shocking lack of respect and fairness from start to finish. If you’re thinking of renting through Aluga Seguro, don’t walk – RUN. I hope this helps someone else make the right choice."

"Péssimo serviço. Contactei esta imobiliaria pois, vi um anúncio de um apartamento no Porto no qual tinha interesse. Fui contactada posteriormente pelo colaborador/mediador que tinha o tal imovel e combinamos uma visita ao mesmo. De notar que, eu sou de Lisboa e expliquei que iria ao Porto propositadamente fazer visitas aquando da chamada telefónica com esta agencia. Ora, combinámos a visita em dia, hora e local corretos e o Sr. Antonio Ramirez ( o mediador do imovel) NÃO COMPARECEU no local, nem se dignou a avisar de nada. Tínhamos combinado a visita para as 16:30, chegámos ao local e enviei mensagem para o dito senhor a dizer que tínhamos chegado. Respondeu me às 17:20 ou seja, quase 1h depois da hora combinada da visita, a dizer que “esqueceu de avisar que a visita so será terça feira” ??? Que falta de profissionalismo, nunca mais contacto esta agencia imobiliaria, que não honra os seus compromissos. Minimamente, telefonava e pedia desculpa pelo sucedido, explicando que não poderia fazer a visita. Inves disso, so passado praticamente 1h do combinado , é que manda mensagem a dizer que a visita será na terça e não avisou porque “houve uma emergencia ha 5 min” pois, mas ha 5 minutos atrás eram 17:15, e a visita era as 16:30h. Nem por tão pouco questionou-me, se poderia ser na terça feira. Simplesmente afirmou! Sendo que quem é o cliente aqui sou eu, e quem falhou foi o senhor António. Péssimo péssimo péssimo, so me fez perder o meu tempo e consequentemente, a vontade em conhecer o imovel."
